Falésia Beach, located in the Algarve

Falésia Beach, located in the Algarve, is a true treasure that captivates and enchants the world. Located between Olhos de Água and Vilamoura, in the municipality of Albufeira, this beach is a small piece of a vast expanse of sand that stretches for around 6 kilometers. Recognized not only as one of the best beaches in the Algarve, but also globally, it attracts visitors from all corners of the world.

With fine sand and crystal clear waters that are typical of the Algarve, Praia da Falésia offers facilities including security, surveillance, parasol rental, showers, outdoor parking and a bar/restaurant. However, pets are not allowed on this beach.

What really distinguishes Praia da Falésia are its impressive cliffs in reddish, brown, white and orange tones, which create a unique and magical setting, especially during sunset. The panoramic views from the cliff tops are simply stunning and many visitors enjoy spending time exploring these geological formations.

Despite being quite busy during high season, the extensive length of Falésia Beach allows visitors to find quieter areas to enjoy the sea and sand.

In addition to Falésia Beach, the Algarve is home to many other stunning beaches, each with its own unique beauty and characteristics. The Dona Ana beaches in Lagos are highly rated among the public, but Falésia Beach certainly stands out as one of the most spectacular.

The name "Praia da Falésia" derives from the impressive rock formations that characterize the Algarve coast. These cliffs, with their vibrant colors and unique shapes, are a distinctive feature of the region, providing not only stunning scenery but also welcoming coves and picturesque beaches that attract visitors from around the world.
